Bursting at the Seams!!!!!

Ok….I was going to wait until Monday when I would have media. But I can’t wait. I just can’t.

WE BOUGHT A FARM!!!

Closing was dicey and so much happened in the last 2 weeks(including sellers refusing to move out and threatening to squat and a scam that nearly cost us 30k) that I thought I would have a stroke.

Thankfully it all subsided and we signed today!

The dirt details:

30 acres, 16 stall barn with wash rack/feed room/Tack room.

Fenced and cross fenced nature pastures

Stocked fishing pond

Massive, seriously massive outdoor arena with fencing and LIGHTS!

Oh and a house. 🙂

More details when I can get back over to it and take a million and a half pictures.

We plan to move next weekend. Gemmies vacation is about to end!

    1. the person we tried to buy our farm from did the very same thing which is why we released her from the contract (We werent as far in as Sara was at the time) I am still very bitter that someone can be that crazy. LOL Glad her story came out okay in the end! 🙂

      1. We had issues too. Except the way it worked out was that the seller wouldn’t sign the extension even though all the work wasn’t finished because then he could claim we weren’t ready to close or some BS like that and we breached the contract. Turns out we were using the same lender and SHE basically saved the sale because she told him he couldn’t afford to stay in the house… but it was a stressful couple of weeks with the seller and his agent not returning calls, my agent turning it to her boss, and then me finally going to my broker who got the damn thing back on track…. but we were actually not under contract for awhile…. Goodbye deposit check? Turns out the seller was just insane and his agent was equally crazy. We’ve had many people come to the house since moving in and breathe a sign of relief when they realize we’re not the old owner….

      2. Wow. People are insane. Our seller owns his own real estate agency and when he tried to pull his crap I had my agent politely tell him that I would trash his business all over the place for him breaking his contract if he didn’t shape up. He shut up after that

  17. WOW!!! Talk about living the DREAM!!! Congratulations! What a truly wonderful find and NEW DIGS!!! Can’t wait to see the pictures and hear the story. It sounds like a doozy!!!
